Dear President Trump: It must be hard to be you as the situation forces you to make decisions that completely disrupt the lives of the American people. Even good decisions that translated through local beareaucrats wind up causing damage. I won't offer suggestions here, but you might like to know what it looks like from here. On the medical side, things seem to be following a strategy, even if actions/decisions are changing day to day depending on the data. But maybe Dr. Birx has not yet recognized the difference from HIV that makes the difference. On the financial side, we seem to have a free for all fight of pigs at the trough. A few bankruptcies will force them to adapt, like cruise line to hospital ship. As for the reaction of people, especially bored young adults, I offer a half joke - they are being blocked from the serious business of finding a partner to make future Americans with. They need to be drafted into activity where they feel useful, and that isolates them in their own community far from their parents (like college campuses, work camps, and army barracks?)
